“I can understand why Trent wants a new challenge at Real Madrid,” the Liverpool legend told Sky Sports.
“He’s been at Liverpool since he was 10 years old and has won everything with them. He could have gone places and not liked it but he’s come back because I’m sure he’ll be welcomed there. “
