Leeds United have been linked with an interest in Juan Mata, who has recently expired at Manchester United

, and the 34-year-old playmaker has left Old Trafford. Last month when his contract expired and he is currently looking for a new club.

He has attracted interest from a number of clubs and Leeds sporting director Victor Orta. Has contacted Mata’s father to inquire about his interest in a move, according to UFABET

Galatasaray and Besiktas are also interested in Mata. But the two clubs have yet to formally approach the player.

He made the move up north after the London club accepted a £37.1m bid in 2014. Which was a record fee for the Red Devils at the time.

He stayed at the club until 2022 after his contract was extend with a new proposal being rejected by the Spaniard at the end of last season.

The outlet reports that negotiations are currently slow with Mata picking what could be his final club as a player this summer.

Leeds have made an offer for Mata and although talks have not progressed much. But I believe that both sides want this deal to end well.

Mata, who made 285 appearances and scored 51 goals during his time for United, posted a farewell video that he was proud of being a player for the club,

but Leeds is also a co-host. Manchester United’s league and move to Elland Road may upset some fans.
