Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo believes his side should be happy with their goalless draw with Everton at Goodison Park at the weekend, which not only kept them in second place but also kept a clean sheet as an away team for the first time since September 21.
The Blues last kept a clean sheet away from home in the league at the London Stadium, beating West Ham 3-0, and it was a crucial comeback, with Tosin blocking Iliman Ndiaye’s shot in the final 15 minutes.
“It’s important for defenders, we love to keep a clean sheet, the moment at that moment is to block the line before it goes in,” Tosin told the official website.
“This is a difficult game.”
“Everton is one of the best teams in Europe, who can keep a clean sheet from us, a team with a hot attacking game in the continent. The opponents also tried to control the situation.”
“The pitch conditions also affect the game. For example, in the first half the weather was terrible. But it’s just another day of testing. You have to keep going.”
“Everyone’s fighting ทางเข้า ufabet spirit impressed me.”
“We went into the game with full concentration and fought well against a strong Everton team.”
“We are fully stocked up on confidence for the new year. Right now, we are on track and want to keep it going.”
