Bayern Munich youngster Mathis Tel has rejected a move to Spurs despite the two football clubs agreeing a £50m fee.

It is understood Tel is open to the possibility of a loan deal. With Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea all interested in the France Under-21 international.
There is also interest in the former Rennes star from Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahly, who are coached by German coach Matthias Jessel.
Manchester United have made an enquiry about Tel. But any deal that could happen is likely to depend on the departures of the players at Old Trafford. Who currently include Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
The rejection of Tel comes as a blow to Ange Postecoglou. Who also missed out on Randal Kolo Mouhani’s loan move from PSG to Juventus.
This season, Tel has been a substitute for Bayern. Playing just 344 minutes in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League, and has yet to score, but at just 19. He is still seen as a talented player with a lot of potential to improve.
