Enzo Maresca says he has not yet made a decision on which goalkeeper he will play against West Ham on Monday. After backing first-choice Robert Sanchez despite a string of errors.

Sanchez, 27, is Maresca’s first-choice goalkeeper. But has already made five errors this season, the most in the Premier League สมัคร UFABET

He has previously said mistakes are normal for his style of play. With Maresca hinting that a switch could be made to Filip Jorgensen for the game against Graham Potter’s Hammers at Stamford Bridge.

“Not yet,” Maresca replied when asked if he had made a decision on which goalkeeper he would play, adding: “We have two or three days to decide.”

“The good thing is that no matter what decision I make. I feel good because every time Philip plays, he always does well.”

“Philip or Robert, we’ll have to wait and see. But whatever decision is fine,”

Maresca was asked if Jorgensen was putting pressure on him to start in the league again, having started just two league games this season.

“I don’t think so, because when I first spoke to Philip in June or July. I made it clear that Robert was the number one choice.”

“Of course, if Robert is the number one choice and we have two good goalkeepers, we can make different decisions.”

“This doesn’t mean Robert can make mistakes every game and play all the time. The number one option is Robert and we’ll see on Monday.”
