Jamie Carragher says Liverpool need look no further than Conor Bradley to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold if the Reds vice-captain decides to leave the club this summer.
Alexander-Arnold, who scored Liverpool’s winner against Leicester on Sunday, has been link with a free transfer to Real Madrid with his Anfield contract due to expire this summer.

“Liverpool have still got to go into the market and buy a player in that position but I think sometimes as we all know when a player signs. Whether it’s to be first-choice or to fill a position somewhere else, I think the lad is good enough.”
Carragher added: “Are you going to go for a really good right-back who’s good offensively and in terms of trying to replace Trent? Probably. In terms of the range of passes he’s given, you know. You’re not going to replace him but maybe someone who can play really. Really forward up front, like (the one who plays) wing-back. “
Or you could go with someone at Liverpool who’s a bit closer, but he’s had injuries, Joe Gomez, who’s a player who can play left-back, right-back, centre-back, someone similar to him and I think Arsenal have made a brilliant signing in Timber, he can play on the right in a back four. “
