United’s second goal came when academy product Alejandro Garnacho passed the ball to Menu. Who has been at the club since the age of nine, who scored.
The pair have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford. As their sale would significantly improve United’s position in terms of profitability and sustainability.

While not specifically mentioning Garnacho or Menu. Amorim said one advantage of a top academy team is that players can be sold to raise funds.
“I want players like Kobbie (Menu) and (Alejandro) Garnacho.” Amorim said.
“The important thing is that we need to improve the academy and bring other people up,”
“That’s where clubs in England have to take advantage of the players coming out of the academy.”
“Playing, feeling the shirt and selling. Our focus is on getting the players up and the rest. I just want to prepare both parts of them for the next game.”
United have sold academy products such as Dean Henderson, Scott McTominay, Anthony Elanga and James Garner in recent years.
